A real phone number
for Discord.
Get a real mobile number for Discord in any of 181 countries. Receive the Discord verification code by SMS or call, use the number for moderator or community accounts, and servers that require a verified phone, and keep it for as long as you want.
Every number includes unlimited incoming SMS, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month, and unlimited incoming calls — from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, with a 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS.
How Discord verification works
Discord may require phone verification to join some servers or to enable SMS-based two-factor authentication, and sends the code by SMS.
Because SMSCreation numbers are real mobile numbers, Discord treats them like any other phone: the code is delivered to your number and shows up in your dashboard inbox straight away.
Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google
Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.
And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.
- Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
- Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
- Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
- Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
- Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working
Discord phone verification details
Discord does not ask everyone for a phone number. It shows a “Verification Required” prompt when its safety system wants extra proof that an account is run by a person: joining several servers in a short time, messaging many people who are not your friends, posting faster than a human can, or using third-party clients. Servers set to the Highest verification level also require a verified phone number before members can chat or join voice channels, and a verified phone number satisfies every lower level too.
Verification works by SMS: press Start Verification, enter a valid mobile number, then type the code from the text message. Discord says VoIP, burner and landline numbers cannot be used, and a phone number can be linked to only one Discord account at a time. A real mobile number in its country's official format meets that rule. The same number can later back up your login: once an authenticator app is set up, Discord lets you enable SMS as a secondary sign-in method.
- Code
- Sent by SMS to the mobile number you enter
- Accounts per number
- One Discord account at a time
- Numbers refused
- VoIP, burner and landline numbers
- Security setting to turn on
- Multi-factor authentication with a passkey or authenticator app; SMS backup can only be enabled after that
- Where to change the number
- User Settings → My Account
Common Discord problems and fixes
- “This phone number is unable to be associated with this account” → the number is already tied to another Discord account → remove it from that account first, or use a different number.
- Invalid phone number → the number was mistyped, does not match the country's numbering plan, or is a VoIP, burner or landline number → re-enter it in international format with the correct country code.
- Rate limit or “recently used” → the number was used for verification recently and is in a timeout → Discord asks you to wait 24–48 hours before trying that number again.
- The SMS never arrives → check the number and country code, then request the code again; our guide “Verification code not received” walks through the usual causes.
- A captcha keeps failing during verification → this is an extra Discord security step, not a number problem → contact Discord Support at dis.gd/contact if it will not clear.
Discord's phone error messages explained
Discord's help article on phone errors covers the two messages most people see. “This phone number is unable to be associated with this account” means the number is already tied to another Discord account. Discord allows one number per account, so you'd have to remove it from the other account first, using the separate How to Remove a Phone Number guide if you can't do it yourself.
An “Invalid phone number” error means Discord thinks the format is wrong or the line isn't a mobile. Enter the number as valid under your country's numbering plan, and make sure it isn't a landline or VoIP device. Discord also asks you to have the number and the device in hand before starting. A real mobile number shown in its country's official format meets both checks. If errors persist, Discord's support form is at dis.gd/contact.

Questions
Does an SMSCreation number work with Discord?
In most cases, yes: our numbers are real mobile numbers, so Discord can send its code to them by SMS — and by call where Discord offers it. Discord's own sign-up rules still apply, so check the verification details on this page before you buy.
Which country should I choose for Discord?
Any country works. Pick the country where you want your contacts to see a local number, or where the service you're joining expects one.
Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?
Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.
Can I keep using the same number for Discord?
Yes. The number is yours for as long as you keep it renewed, so you can receive codes again for new devices or account recovery.
What if I don't need the number after all?
You're covered by our 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS — request a refund within 7 days of activation.
How much does it cost?
From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan (billed yearly at $21.60/year). Every plan includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 minutes.
Why is Discord suddenly asking me to verify a phone?
Discord shows “Verification Required” when its systems see activity that often signals spam, such as joining many servers quickly or messaging lots of non-friends, or when you join a server set to the Highest verification level. Verifying a real mobile number clears the prompt and lets you chat in servers at every verification level.
Can I use SMS for Discord two-factor authentication?
Only as a backup. Discord requires an authenticator app or passkey first; after that you can add a phone and press Enable SMS Authentication. Discord itself recommends against relying on SMS alone because of SIM-swap attacks, so keep your backup codes safe as well.
Can one number verify several Discord accounts?
No. Discord allows a phone number on one account at a time. To move it, remove it from the first account, then add it to the second.
