A real phone number
for Facebook.

Get a real mobile number for Facebook in any of 181 countries. Receive the Facebook verification code by SMS or call, use the number for a business page or Marketplace profile that doesn't expose your personal number, and keep it for as long as you want.

Every number includes unlimited incoming SMS, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month, and unlimited incoming calls — from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, with a 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS.

01

How Facebook verification works

Facebook sends a confirmation code by SMS when you add or change a phone number, and can send login codes by SMS.

Because SMSCreation numbers are real mobile numbers, Facebook treats them like any other phone: the code is delivered to your number and shows up in your dashboard inbox straight away.

02

Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google

Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.

And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.

  • Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
  • Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
  • Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
  • Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
  • Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working

Facebook verification details

Facebook asks for a confirmation code when you add a mobile number to your account. You add it under Accounts Center > Profiles and personal details > Contact info > Add new contact > Add mobile number, then choose which accounts the number applies to. If you use text message two-factor authentication, Facebook sends a 6-digit security code by SMS whenever someone logs in from a phone or browser it doesn't recognize. Facebook's help center says SMS security codes are always six digits long.

Facebook recommends also adding an email address to every account, so you can get back in if you lose the phone. When you turn on SMS codes, it suggests a second method as well, such as a security key or recovery codes. If you can't get any code at all, Facebook may ask you to confirm your identity. That can mean uploading a government-issued ID or using trusted contacts, and a phone number can't do those steps for you.

Common Facebook problems and fixes

  • No confirmation code: first check the number you typed. Facebook lets you view it and fix it with Update contact info. Then use Send SMS again, or confirm with an email address instead. Our guide "Verification code not received" covers the number side.
  • Two-factor codes stop arriving: Facebook says you may have turned off text messages from Facebook and explains how to turn them back on. Text codes can also be delayed by the network, so check again after a few minutes.
  • Locked out without a code: approve the login from a device where you're still logged in, or enter one of your saved recovery codes. Each recovery code works only once.
  • Turning off SMS turns off two-factor: if you have no authentication app or security key, removing the SMS number also switches off two-factor authentication. Add another method first.

Signing up for Facebook with a mobile number: the errors you can meet

Facebook's help article on creating an account with a phone number lists three distinct messages. “Mobile number isn't recognised” usually means the country code is missing; Facebook's own example is entering 91 before an Indian number. “An account already exists with your mobile number” means the number is already on a profile, and Facebook says you may need to wait a few days before adding it to another account. And if you sign up again with the same or a similar phone number and password as an existing profile, Facebook simply logs you in to the old one instead of creating a new one.

Logging in by phone has its own rule: type the entire number including the country code, and leave out extra zeros, plus signs and other special characters. If that still fails, Facebook points you to facebook.com/login/identify, and asks you to run it from a computer or phone you've used to log in before.

Recovery codes: Facebook's fallback when SMS isn't available

  • Recovery codes only exist once two-factor authentication is on; Facebook gives you ten of them.
  • Path: profile picture → Settings and privacy → Settings → Accounts Centre → Password and security → Two-factor authentication → choose the account → Additional methods → Recovery codes → Get new codes.
  • Each of the ten codes works once. Print them or write them down, and press Get new codes when you run out or lose the list.
  • Facebook notes it's gradually moving people to Meta Accounts, so the same setting may sit under Meta Account settings instead of Accounts Centre.

Questions

Does an SMSCreation number work with Facebook?

Yes. Our numbers are real mobile numbers, so Facebook can send its verification code to them by SMS — and by call where Facebook offers it, since incoming calls are unlimited.

Which country should I choose for Facebook?

Any country works. Pick the country where you want your contacts to see a local number, or where the service you're joining expects one.

Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?

Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.

Can I keep using the same number for Facebook?

Yes. The number is yours for as long as you keep it renewed, so you can receive codes again for new devices or account recovery.

What if I don't need the number after all?

You're covered by our 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS — request a refund within 7 days of activation.

How much does it cost?

From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan (billed yearly at $21.60/year). Every plan includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 minutes.

Can I use one number for Facebook and Instagram?

Facebook lets you pick which accounts in Accounts Center a mobile number is added to, so one confirmed number can cover more than one profile. If you'd rather keep a business page or Marketplace profile away from your personal SIM, use a separate SMSCreation number.

What if I lose access to the number on my Facebook account?

Log in with another method, such as email, an authentication app, a security key or a recovery code, and add a number you control under Contact info. Keeping your SMSCreation number renewed avoids the problem, because the codes keep landing in your dashboard.

Why does Facebook say an account already exists with my mobile number?

The number is already confirmed on another profile. Facebook says you may need to wait a few days before you can add it to a different account. If it's your own old profile, reset that profile's password instead; otherwise use a fresh number that has never been on Facebook.

How should I type a non-US number when logging in to Facebook?

Enter the full number with its country code, without leading zeros, a plus sign or other symbols. That matches the format SMSCreation shows for each number, digits only after the country code.

How many Facebook recovery codes do I get?

Ten. They become available after you turn on two-factor authentication, each works one time, and you can generate a fresh set from the Recovery codes screen whenever you need to.
