A Brazilian mobile number for Discord

DDD, the ninth digit, and what to strip
A Brazilian mobile has eleven digits after +55: a two-digit DDD, then nine digits starting with 9. Anatel added that leading 9 to every mobile between 2012 and 2016, so an eight-digit mobile from an old contact list is out of date. Keep all eleven digits.
For long-distance calls inside Brazil, people dial 0 plus a two-digit carrier code before the DDD, as in 0 21 11 9…. None of that belongs in an international number. If Discord reports it as invalid, its advice is to re-enter the number in international format with the correct country code.

Step by step with a +55 number

Common errors
- “This phone number is unable to be associated with this account”: another Discord account holds the number. Remove it there or use a different one.
- “Invalid phone number”: often the missing 9, a leftover carrier code, or a landline, VoIP or burner number.
- Rate limit or “recently used”: wait 24–48 hours before trying the number again.

Caveats
A Brazilian number can't be on two Discord accounts at once, and it doesn't override a server's own rules.
