A Brazilian mobile number for Google and Gmail

In Brazil a Gmail address is often the backbone of a small business: the Business Profile customers find on Maps, the Ads account, the YouTube channel and the inbox where marketplace and bank notifications arrive. Brazilians abroad and foreign companies selling into Brazil often want that account tied to a +55 number that won't vanish when a local chip is cancelled.

An SMSCreation Brazilian number is a real mobile line, yours alone. Google's code comes as a text in your dashboard, or as a call you answer in the browser. This page explains the eleven-digit format, how Google checks the number over time, the steps and the limits.

01

Why a +55 number for Google

Brazilian marketplaces, delivery apps and digital banks verify by SMS and send the paper trail to Gmail. When the Gmail's recovery phone is Brazilian too, you keep control of that trail from anywhere, even after moving to Lisbon or Miami.

For businesses, a Brazilian mobile on the Workspace admin, Google Ads and Business Profile side matches customers who expect a local presence, and it keeps company security codes off the owner's personal WhatsApp number.

02

The eleven-digit format Google needs

Every Brazilian mobile has eleven digits after +55: a two-digit area code, the DDD, and then nine digits that begin with 9. That leading 9 was added to all mobiles between 2012 and 2016, and forms or contact lists built on the older eight-digit pattern still cause trouble. In Google's phone field choose the Brazil flag and type the DDD and all nine digits, for example 11 96123-4567.

Brazilians also dial long-distance calls with a 0 and a two-digit carrier code in front, so you may see a number written as 0 21 11 9…. None of that belongs in Google's form. Strip it and keep only the DDD and the nine-digit number.

How Google verifies, then re-verifies

Google asks for a phone when it wants to be sure a real person is signing up or signing in. You get a one-time code by text, or an automated call reading it if you choose that option. An SMSCreation Brazilian number receives both: the SMS in the dashboard inbox, the call in the browser. If you requested more than one code, the latest is the one that works.

Every number is also subject to Google's per-number caps on account creation and verification. A shared number reaches them fast; a number used only by you starts with a clean slate. After the first code, make it your recovery phone and 2-Step Verification phone. A newly added number may take up to seven days before Google fully trusts it, and Google may continue sending codes to your old details for a week after a change.

Step by step with a Brazilian number

  1. 01Choose Brazil on SMSCreation and pick a listed mobile number.
  2. 02Pay with USDT or USDC; the full number appears in your dashboard once the payment is matched.
  3. 03In Google, select the Brazil flag and type the DDD plus the nine digits, with no carrier code or 0 in front.
  4. 04Request the code by text, or by voice call.
  5. 05Copy the code from your SMSCreation inbox and enter it straight away.
  6. 06In Google Account > Security & sign-in, add the number as recovery phone and turn on 2-Step Verification.
06

What a Brazilian number won't do

  • It doesn't decide whether Google shows a phone step; that is Google's call.
  • It can't get around Google's per-number caps. If you see "cannot be used for verification", request a free replacement Brazilian number within 7 days.
  • It isn't a bank account, so it can't be registered as a Pix key on its own; Pix keys require a Brazilian bank account.
  • After too many recovery-code requests in one day, Google makes you wait 24 hours.
07

Keeping access for the long run

Most of Brazil runs on Brasília time, UTC−3, and the country dropped daylight saving in 2019. Google's codes don't care: they appear in your dashboard whenever they are sent, whether you are in São Paulo or on another continent.

The one thing that breaks recovery is a lapsed number. Leave it on auto-renew while it protects a Google Account and it stays assigned to you.

08

Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google

Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.

And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.

  • Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
  • Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
  • Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
  • Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
  • Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working

Price, keeping it and the 7-day guarantee

A Brazilian number costs from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, $21.60 billed yearly, the same price as all other countries. It includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing texts and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month. If Google does not accept the number within 7 days of activation, we replace it with another Brazilian number free or refund 100%, and a number that hasn't been used for any call or SMS can be refunded within 7 days, no questions asked.

Questions

Google says my Brazilian number is too short. Why?

It is probably missing the ninth digit. Brazilian mobiles are the DDD plus nine digits beginning with 9, eleven digits in total after +55. Enter the number exactly as your dashboard shows it.

Should I include the carrier code Brazilians use for long-distance calls?

No. The 0 and two-digit carrier code are only for domestic dialing. In Google's form, with the Brazil flag selected, type just the DDD and the nine-digit number.

Can I use a Brazilian number as recovery phone for my Business Profile's Gmail?

Yes. Set it under Google Account > Security & sign-in > Recovery phone. Allow up to seven days before Google fully relies on it, and keep it renewed so the business account stays recoverable.

Does it matter which DDD my number has?

Not for Google's code. The DDD depends on the number you pick from the list, and delivery works the same way for any area code.

Can I get Google's code by phone call on a Brazilian number?

Yes. Incoming calls are included and ring in your SMSCreation dashboard, which is handy if a text runs late.

Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?

Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.
