An Indian mobile number for Google and Gmail

In India a phone number is often the login itself, and the Gmail address behind a business, a YouTube channel or an Android handset quietly becomes the recovery point for many other accounts. People abroad who still manage Indian work, family paperwork or a company in Bengaluru or Mumbai often want that Google Account tied to an Indian number they will not lose when a local SIM expires.

SMSCreation gives you a real +91 mobile number that belongs to you alone. Google's code arrives as a text in a private dashboard, or as a call you answer in the browser. Below: how to enter an Indian number in Google's form, how Google re-checks it, the steps, and the things an Indian number from us cannot do.

01

Why an Indian number on your Google Account

Shopping, delivery, ticketing and job portals in India commonly sign you in with a one-time code, and their receipts, resets and alerts pile up in Gmail. If the Gmail itself is secured by a number from another country, your Indian digital life ends up depending on a foreign SIM. A +91 recovery phone keeps it all in one place.

Indian businesses and freelancers have a second reason: a Google Account for a Pvt Ltd company, its Google Ads and its Business Profile look more consistent with an Indian contact number, and no single employee's personal phone ends up holding the keys.

02

Entering a +91 number in Google's form

Indian mobile numbers are always ten digits and begin with 6, 7, 8 or 9. Choose India in the flag menu of Google's phone field and type those ten digits, nothing more. A leading 0 is a domestic trunk habit from some landlines, and 91 is already supplied by the flag, so adding either produces eleven or twelve digits and an error.

If Google still complains, remove spaces and hyphens and paste the bare digits. The number shown in your SMSCreation dashboard is already in the correct ten-digit form.

How Google verifies and later re-verifies

Google asks for a phone number when it wants to be sure a real person is creating an account or signing in. It sends a code in a text, or calls and reads it aloud if you choose that option. Both reach an SMSCreation number: texts land in the dashboard inbox and calls ring in your browser. If you asked for a code twice, only the newest one counts.

Google also caps each number: there is a limit on how many accounts it can create and on how many verifications it can pass. Numbers circulated among many users hit those limits, while a number assigned only to you does not. Once you are in, add it as recovery phone and 2-Step Verification phone. Google can take up to seven days to fully rely on a newly added number, and for a week after a change it may still send codes to your earlier details.

05

Step by step with an Indian number

  1. 01On SMSCreation, choose India and select a listed mobile number.
  2. 02Pay in USDT or USDC; the full number appears in your dashboard as soon as the payment is matched.
  3. 03In Google's phone field, pick the India flag and enter the ten digits without 0 or 91.
  4. 04Ask for the code by text, or choose a voice call.
  5. 05Copy the code from your SMSCreation inbox and enter it right away.
  6. 06Under Google Account > Security & sign-in, set the number as recovery phone and turn on 2-Step Verification.
06

What to know before you start

  • UPI apps bind your account to the SIM in your handset by sending an SMS from it, so this number is for Google codes, other OTPs and calls, not for UPI registration.
  • Google decides whether to show the phone step at all; the number neither adds nor removes it.
  • If Google says the number cannot be used for verification, a per-number cap has been reached; ask for a free replacement Indian number within 7 days.
  • Too many recovery-code requests in a day lock the option for 24 hours.
07

IST, travel and long-term access

India runs on IST, UTC+5:30, all year. Whether Google sends a code at an awkward hour in Delhi or while you are in Toronto, it shows up in the dashboard immediately, so you never depend on a roaming SIM to get back into Gmail.

Keep the number renewed for as long as it protects the account. An expired number can no longer receive a recovery code, which is the moment you would need it most.

08

Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google

Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.

And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.

  • Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
  • Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
  • Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
  • Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
  • Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working

Price, keeping it and the 7-day guarantee

An Indian number costs from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, $21.60 billed yearly, the same price as in every other country. Included: unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing texts and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month. If Google does not accept it within 7 days of activation, we replace it with another Indian number free or refund 100%, and a number that has not been used for any call or SMS can be refunded within 7 days, no questions asked.

Questions

Should I put 0 or 91 before my Indian number in Google?

Neither. With the India flag selected, Google already adds +91, so you type only the ten digits that start with 6, 7, 8 or 9.

Can I verify a Gmail for my Android phone with an Indian number from SMSCreation?

Yes. The Gmail sign-up only needs the number to receive Google's code, which arrives in your dashboard by text or call. The phone doesn't need to hold a SIM with that number.

Why can I use it for Google but not for UPI?

Google sends a code to the number, and any real mobile that receives it can pass. UPI apps instead send an SMS from the SIM inside your phone to prove the device holds that number, and a number used through a web dashboard can't do that.

Can one Indian number protect several Google Accounts?

Google limits how many accounts a number can create and how often it can be used to verify. When it stops accepting the number, use a separate one. For accounts that matter, one number each keeps recovery simple.

Will Google's code reach me if I live outside India?

Yes. The number keeps its Indian format, and the dashboard opens in any browser, so codes reach you in any country.

Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?

Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.
