A German number for Tinder, separate from your Handynummer

Germans tend to guard their personal data, and the Handynummer is a good example: it sits behind online banking, parcel lockers and WhatsApp. Putting that same number on a dating profile doesn't sit well with many people, especially when a match asks to switch to messaging after a couple of chats.

A second German mobile number reserved for Tinder is a straightforward answer. This page shows how to enter +49 numbers of either length, explains the age check Tinder applies across the EEA, and sets out the conduct rules. The number exists for one profile: your real one.

01

Why a dedicated German number for Tinder

A number used only for dating keeps your main contact details out of strangers' phones. If a match becomes a friend, you can share your personal number later; if not, nothing links back to your bank or your employer.

It is also practical for people moving to Germany. Getting a local prepaid SIM means an identity check before activation, a rule in force since July 2017, often by video call. Our German numbers need only an email sign-up, so you can have a +49 line for Tinder before you've sorted a local contract.

02

Entering a +49 number the way Tinder expects

Choose Germany in Tinder's country list so +49 is set. Then type the number without its leading 0 and without slashes or brackets. German mobile numbers come in two valid lengths, ten or eleven digits after +49, so type every digit exactly as your dashboard shows it.

Country code
+49, Germany in the picker
Mobile prefixes
015x, 016x and 017x at home
Worked example
0151/23456789 is entered as 1512 3456789, no 0, no slash
Length
Ten or eleven digits after +49; both are correct

Phone verification and the EEA age check

Creating an account in the Tinder app for Android or iOS includes confirming a phone number. Tinder.com asks depending on your sign-in method. Each future login by phone brings a new text code, so the German number needs to stay active. One number can be confirmed on only one Tinder account at a time.

Across the EEA, Germany included, Tinder's help centre says an age check by video selfie can be required, with ID requested in some cases. That is a check on you as a person. A phone number doesn't complete it and isn't meant to.

05

Step by step

  1. 01Sign up at SMSCreation with just an email; no Personalausweis or video identification is needed.
  2. 02Choose Germany, select a number and pay in USDT or USDC.
  3. 03Copy the number from your dashboard and drop the leading 0.
  4. 04In Tinder, choose Germany and enter the digits exactly.
  5. 05Copy the SMS code from your dashboard inbox into Tinder.
  6. 06Complete the video-selfie age check yourself if Tinder asks.
  7. 07Add an email to the Tinder account and turn on auto-renew.
06

Fair use: one number, one real profile

The number is for your own genuine profile: your photos, your real age, your honest details. Fake profiles, duplicate accounts, impersonation and returning after a ban break Tinder's rules and our Acceptable Use Policy, and we close numbers used for any of them.

Tinder states that banned members may not open new accounts. If you believe a ban is mistaken, the Appeal Center is where to go; a new +49 number isn't a way back in.

07

What the number won't cover

  • The verified badge comes from Tinder's Photo Verification, not from the phone step.
  • The EEA age check is done with your face, and sometimes an ID, never with a number.
  • A slow code is sometimes just delayed; Tinder suggests waiting a few hours before retrying.
  • Without an email on the account, a lapsed number can mean losing access.
08

Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google

Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.

And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.

  • Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
  • Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
  • Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
  • Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
  • Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working

Price, keeping the number and the 7-day guarantee

German numbers are from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, $21.60 billed yearly. The number is yours for as long as you renew it. If Tinder won't accept it, our 7-day replacement guarantee gives you a free replacement German number within 7 days of activation, or a 100% refund.

Questions

My German number has eleven digits after +49. Is that a problem for Tinder?

No. Some German mobile blocks have ten digits after +49 and others eleven. Enter the number exactly as shown in your dashboard, minus the leading 0.

Does a German number let me avoid Tinder's video-selfie check?

No, and it isn't designed to. The EEA age check verifies you. Complete it honestly when Tinder asks.

Do I need a German address or ID to get the number?

No. SMSCreation signs you up with an email only. Tinder's own age check is separate and may ask for your face or ID.

Can I use the German number on a second Tinder profile?

No. Tinder verifies a number on one account at a time, and running extra profiles breaks our Acceptable Use Policy.

Can I give matches my Tinder number instead of my Handynummer?

Yes. That's a common reason to have it. Incoming texts and calls are unlimited, and you can reply from the browser.

Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?

Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.
