A US mobile number for Facebook, readable from anywhere
A US cell number on Facebook does two jobs at once: it gives your profile, Page or Marketplace listing a +1 contact that American buyers and group admins recognize, and it becomes the line that receives Facebook's confirmation and login codes. You can run that line from anywhere without an American SIM.
It's an ordinary American cell line, not a shared inbox: nobody else sees the texts, and incoming calls work too if Facebook ever offers a call instead.
Why a US number for Facebook
Many people who want a +1 line for Facebook live outside the US but sell to, organize for or keep in touch with Americans. Others live in the US and simply don't want their personal cell attached to a public-facing Page. Because American services lean so heavily on the phone number, a separate +1 line also keeps your Facebook security codes away from the SIM you use for your bank.
- A Marketplace or Page contact for American customers that isn't your personal cell
- One +1 line for Facebook plus the other US apps that refuse foreign numbers
- Login codes that follow you when you move abroad or change carriers
The US format Facebook expects
Facebook wants ten digits for an American line. With the country picker on United States, type 201 555 0123 and nothing more; Facebook adds the +1 itself. The mistake we see most is a leading 1 typed on top of the pre-filled +1, which produces eleven digits. Parentheses and dashes, as in (201) 555-0123, are harmless in most forms but safer to strip.

Pick your United States number
These United States numbers are listed right now (31 in total). Choose one on the country page; the hidden digits are assigned when your order is approved and the number is activated.
When Facebook texts your +1 number
Facebook first texts a confirmation code the moment you save the +1 number in Accounts Center, and at that point you decide which profiles share it. Later texts are six-digit login codes, sent only if you've turned on two-factor authentication by SMS and someone signs in from an unfamiliar browser or phone — say, a hotel laptop while you're traveling outside the States.
Set up Facebook with a US number
- 01Sign up at SMSCreation with an email address.
- 02Pick a number in United States and pay in USDT or USDC.
- 03In Facebook: Accounts Center > Profiles and personal details > Contact info > Add mobile number.
- 04Choose United States, enter the ten digits 201 555 0123 (area code first, no extra 1) and tick the profiles it covers.
- 05Paste the code from your inbox; add an email and recovery codes as backups.
Limits to know before using a US number
- A +1 number can't make Facebook treat you as a US resident for features that depend on your location, payout country or identity documents; it only handles the SMS side.
- If Facebook asks for an ID document or trusted contacts, no number can do that step for you.
Keeping Facebook codes coming on the US line
If a code doesn't show up, look at the number Facebook has on file before anything else; an extra 1 or a Canadian area code typed by mistake is enough to misroute it. Resend once, then wait a few minutes. With six time zones between Maine and Hawaii, remember that Facebook's texts don't care what hour it is where the area code sits.
Free US inbox vs a +1 number you keep for Facebook
A free US number from a public SMS site is a bad match for Facebook, because a phone number there is mostly about security. With text-message two-factor authentication on, Facebook sends a six-digit code each time someone logs in from an unrecognised phone or browser. On a public page, that code is visible to anyone who opens it.
A one-time code is cheaper if all you want is to confirm a number once, and that's the honest comparison. But a number tied to Marketplace, a Page or two-factor login has to keep working: codes come back every time you log in somewhere new. A US number you keep receives them in your own inbox.
- Free inbox: your login codes become public
- One-time code: cheapest to confirm a number once
- A +1 number you keep: two-factor codes stay private
Facebook code not arriving on a US number?
Facebook's help center suggests checking the number you entered first; you can view it and fix it with Update contact info. For a US number that means ten digits after +1, area code first. Then tap Send SMS again, and remember that text codes can be delayed by the network, so look again after a few minutes.
- If codes stopped arriving, Facebook notes you may have turned off texts from Facebook; turn them back on.
- Confirm with an email address instead when Facebook offers that option.
- Save recovery codes and add an authentication app so a missing SMS never locks you out.
- If a test SMS reaches your dashboard but Facebook's doesn't, contact support within 7 days of activation.
Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google
Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.
And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.
- Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
- Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
- Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
- Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
- Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working
Price, renewal and the 7-day guarantee
From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan ($21.60 billed yearly), the same as every country. If Facebook won't take the +1 number, you get a free US replacement within 7 days of activation or a 100% refund. Unused numbers can be refunded within 7 days, no questions asked.

Questions
Will a US number from SMSCreation work for Facebook Marketplace in the US?
It can confirm the phone on the account that owns the listing, which is what Facebook asks the number for. Marketplace availability itself follows Facebook's own rules about location and account standing, which a phone number doesn't change.
Can I pick a specific US area code for my Facebook number?
You choose from the US numbers listed for sale. The first two and last two digits appear as XX until activation, so you see the pattern but not the full number in advance. Facebook doesn't care which state the area code belongs to.
Does Facebook care which US state my area code is from?
No. Facebook only needs to deliver the code to a valid +1 cell. A New Jersey 201 number works the same as a California one, and American mobile numbers don't reveal where the owner actually lives.
Can I keep a US Facebook number after I leave America?
Yes. The texts arrive in a web dashboard, not a SIM, so moving to London or Manila changes nothing. Keep the plan renewed and Facebook's login codes keep landing in the same inbox.
Will Facebook reject a US number because I'm browsing from another country?
Adding a number isn't tied to where you're browsing from; Facebook sends a code to the number you enter. What it decides about your account based on location is a separate matter a phone number doesn't control.
Is a free US number OK for Facebook?
No. Facebook uses the number for confirmation and two-factor codes, and a free number on a public site shows those codes to everyone. Use a +1 number only you can read.
Facebook code not received on my US number. What should I do?
Check the number with Update contact info, tap Send SMS again and wait a few minutes. If texts from Facebook were turned off, turn them back on. A test SMS to the number shows whether the line receives; if it does, contact support.
Can I use a US number for Facebook two-factor authentication?
Yes. Under Accounts Center > Password and security > Two-factor authentication you can choose Text message (SMS), and Facebook sends six-digit codes to the +1 number. Add recovery codes or an authentication app as a second method.
Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?
Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.
