A real phone number
for Amazon.
Get a real mobile number for Amazon in any of 181 countries. Receive the Amazon verification code by SMS or call, use the number for a seller or buyer account in another marketplace country, and keep it for as long as you want.
Every number includes unlimited incoming SMS, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month, and unlimited incoming calls — from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, with a 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS.
How Amazon verification works
Amazon sends one-time passwords by SMS for sign-in, two-step verification and some seller or delivery flows.
Because SMSCreation numbers are real mobile numbers, Amazon treats them like any other phone: the code is delivered to your number and shows up in your dashboard inbox straight away.
Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google
Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.
And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.
- Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
- Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
- Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
- Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
- Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working
Amazon verification details
Amazon uses your mobile number for one-time passwords (OTPs) and for Two-Step Verification. With Two-Step Verification on, every sign-in from a new device needs a unique security code on top of your password, delivered by text message or generated by an authenticator app. You turn it on, change the phone number and add backup methods in Your Account → Login & security. Amazon recommends adding a backup method such as a second phone number or an authenticator app, and a one-time password sent for a forgotten password is valid for 10 minutes.
In the US, Amazon texts security codes from the short code 35213, so make sure that sender is not blocked. Selling is a different level of verification: to register as a seller, Amazon asks for a phone number with country code and also verifies your identity with a government-issued ID, either by a photo of you and the ID or by a video call. A rented number covers the phone step only; it does not replace that ID check.

Common Amazon problems and fixes
- OTP not received → Amazon suggests checking the number in Login & security, clearing a full inbox, and making sure Amazon's number isn't blocked → then select Resend Code. See our guide “Verification code not received”.
- Can't sign in on a new device and no code prompt appears → use Amazon's Alternate Sign-in: enter your password, wait for the security code, then add the code to the end of your password and submit again.
- Two-Step Verification fails and you're locked out → at the code screen choose Didn't Receive the Code → Two-Step Verification Account Recovery and follow the identity steps.
- Seller registration stalls after the phone step → Amazon also needs a government ID and identity check for sellers → have those ready; the number alone won't complete registration.
Amazon's Alternate Sign-in when no code prompt appears
Amazon's Two-Step Verification troubleshooting page covers a case that confuses many people: you're on a new or untrusted device and the security-code prompt never shows. Amazon's fix is Alternate Sign-in. Enter your email and password and select Submit. If you get an error message, wait for a security code by text, call or authenticator app, then type the code straight after your password and submit again. Amazon's own example: password “amazon123” plus code “45678” becomes “amazon12345678”. A device can't be saved as trusted when you sign in this way.
A second edge case is a forgotten password during device registration. Amazon sends a one-time password to your email or by text, valid for 10 minutes. You enter that OTP to start registration, wait for the Two-Step Verification code, then combine the OTP and the security code and submit.
When Amazon codes don't arrive, or the phone is gone
- For a missing OTP, Amazon lists: check the phone's network connection, verify or update the account number at Login & security, clear your message inbox and restart the phone, and make sure Amazon's number isn't blocked.
- Lost the 2SV phone? Amazon asks you to try a registered backup method or a trusted device first.
- If neither works, sign in, choose Didn't Receive the Code on the 2SV screen, select Two-Step Verification Account Recovery and follow the on-screen verification.
- Amazon won't change your Two-Step Verification settings until your identity is confirmed. Afterwards, manage the method in Your Account → Login & security.

Questions
Does an SMSCreation number work with Amazon?
In most cases, yes: our numbers are real mobile numbers, so Amazon can send its code to them by SMS — and by call where Amazon offers it. Amazon's own sign-up rules still apply, so check the verification details on this page before you buy.
Which country should I choose for Amazon?
Any country works. Pick the country where you want your contacts to see a local number, or where the service you're joining expects one.
Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?
Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.
Can I keep using the same number for Amazon?
Yes. The number is yours for as long as you keep it renewed, so you can receive codes again for new devices or account recovery.
What if I don't need the number after all?
You're covered by our 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS — request a refund within 7 days of activation.
How much does it cost?
From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan (billed yearly at $21.60/year). Every plan includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 minutes.
Can I use a second number for my Amazon account in another country?
Yes. Add it in Your Account → Login & security and confirm the OTP. A local mobile number in the marketplace's country makes codes and delivery contact simpler. Keep the number active, because Two-Step Verification sends every new-device code to it.
What if I lose the number used for Amazon Two-Step Verification?
Use a backup method first: an authenticator app or a second phone number. If you have none, Amazon's Two-Step Verification Account Recovery asks you to verify your identity before it changes the settings, so it is easier to keep the number renewed.
What is Amazon's Alternate Sign-in?
It's Amazon's workaround when a new device doesn't show the security-code prompt. Submit your email and password, wait for the code by text, call or authenticator app, then add the code to the end of your password and submit again. You can't mark that device as trusted.
Can Amazon send the Two-Step Verification code by voice call?
Yes. Amazon's troubleshooting page says the security code can come by text, by call or from an authenticator app. With our number, both the SMS and the incoming call reach your dashboard.
