A real phone number
for Uber Eats.

Get a real mobile number for Uber Eats in any of 181 countries. Receive the Uber Eats verification code by SMS or call, use the number for food orders and courier calls on a number kept apart from your personal SIM, and keep it for as long as you want.

Every number includes unlimited incoming SMS, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month, and unlimited incoming calls — from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, with a 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS.

01

How Uber Eats verification works

Uber Eats uses your Uber account and confirms the phone number with a code sent by text message when you sign up or change the number. 2-step verification can also send 4-digit codes by SMS.

Because SMSCreation numbers are real mobile numbers, Uber Eats treats them like any other phone: the code is delivered to your number and shows up in your dashboard inbox straight away.

02

Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google

Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.

And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.

  • Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
  • Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
  • Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
  • Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
  • Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working

Uber Eats verification details

Uber Eats and Uber rides share a single Uber account, and Uber says you can have only one account for both. When you create the account or change its number, Uber sends a mobile verification code by text message to type into the app. Uber recommends a number from a wireless mobile provider, because couriers and drivers use it to call and text you. Uber's codes come from a short code. If short-code SMS is blocked on a line, the code never arrives. Uber's help pages also warn that texts may not arrive if you opted out of Uber messages or have no signal.

For extra security, turn on 2-step verification in Account → Settings → Security → 2-step verification. Codes can come by text message or from a security app such as Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile. Uber's help centre describes a 4-digit code sent by SMS. When you turn the feature on, Uber gives you 8-digit backup codes; each works once. To change the number in the Uber Eats app, open Settings in the profile tab, tap Edit and replace the number. A new code goes to the new number, and the change also applies in the Uber rides app.

Common Uber Eats problems and fixes

  • The verification text never arrives → the number may be mistyped, or the line blocks short-code SMS → edit the number, tap “Resend”, and restart the phone. Our guide “Verification code not received” has more checks.
  • You opted out of Uber texts earlier → Uber stops sending messages → re-subscribe in Uber's communication preferences, then request the code again.
  • “Phone number already in use” → an Uber or Uber Eats account already exists on that number → sign in to that account instead, because one account covers rides and Eats.
  • No 2-step code on a new phone → on the code screen, tap “I'm having trouble” and choose “Resend code via SMS”, or enter one of your 8-digit backup codes.
  • You lost the old number → on the Get Started page, tap “Changed your mobile number?” below the Mobile Number box and follow the prompts.

One Uber account behind Eats and rides

Uber Eats doesn't have accounts of its own. The number you verify in the Eats app is the same number on your Uber rides account, and Uber allows only one account across both. Change it in Eats under the profile tab → Settings → Edit and the change carries over to rides. Try to sign up for Eats with a number already used for rides and you'll see "Phone number already in use"; just sign in instead.

Couriers and drivers call and text that number, which is why Uber recommends one from a wireless mobile provider. Uber's codes come from a short code, so a line that blocks short-code texts never sees them.

06

2-step verification on Uber Eats

  • Turn it on at Account → Settings → Security → 2-step verification.
  • Codes come by text or from a security app such as Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile; Uber's help centre describes the texted code as 4 digits.
  • Uber hands out 8-digit backup codes when you turn it on, and each works once.
  • On a new phone with no text arriving, tap "I'm having trouble" and pick "Resend code via SMS".
  • Lost the old number entirely? Tap "Changed your mobile number?" under the Mobile Number box on the Get Started page.

Questions

Does an SMSCreation number work with Uber Eats?

In most cases, yes: our numbers are real mobile numbers, so Uber Eats can send its code to them by SMS — and by call where Uber Eats offers it. Uber Eats's own sign-up rules still apply, so check the verification details on this page before you buy.

Which country should I choose for Uber Eats?

Any country works. Pick the country where you want your contacts to see a local number, or where the service you're joining expects one.

Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?

Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.

Can I keep using the same number for Uber Eats?

Yes. The number is yours for as long as you keep it renewed, so you can receive codes again for new devices or account recovery.

What if I don't need the number after all?

You're covered by our 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS — request a refund within 7 days of activation.

How much does it cost?

From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan (billed yearly at $21.60/year). Every plan includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 minutes.

Can I use this number for Uber Eats?

Yes. It's a real mobile number, so it receives Uber's SMS codes, and incoming calls are unlimited, so couriers can call you at the door. Keep it active, because Uber sends codes to the same number again when you set up a new phone.

Do I need a separate number for Uber rides and Uber Eats?

No. Uber allows one account for both services, and a number change in Uber Eats also appears in the Uber rides app. A second number only helps if you want a completely separate Uber account, such as one kept apart from your personal SIM.

Does changing my number in Uber Eats change it in Uber too?

Yes. Uber Eats and Uber rides share one account, so a number change made in the Eats app also applies in the rides app.

Why don't Uber Eats codes arrive on some lines?

Uber sends them from a short code. If short-code SMS is blocked, or you opted out of Uber messages, the text won't arrive until you fix that.
