A real phone number
for DoorDash.

Get a real mobile number for DoorDash in any of 181 countries. Receive the DoorDash verification code by SMS or call, use the number for delivery orders and Dasher texts on a number that isn't your personal SIM, and keep it for as long as you want.

Every number includes unlimited incoming SMS, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month, and unlimited incoming calls — from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, with a 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS.

01

How DoorDash verification works

DoorDash sends a 6-digit code by SMS to verify your phone number, because Dashers may text you about deliveries. Codes expire after 30 minutes, and 5 wrong tries lock you out for 30 minutes.

Because SMSCreation numbers are real mobile numbers, DoorDash treats them like any other phone: the code is delivered to your number and shows up in your dashboard inbox straight away.

02

Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google

Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.

And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.

  • Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
  • Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
  • Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
  • Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
  • Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working

DoorDash verification details

DoorDash requires customers to verify their phone number, because Dashers may need to text you during a delivery. When prompted, you enter a 6-digit code sent to the number you added at sign-up, and the phone must be able to receive SMS. DoorDash says phone verification codes can be requested only on the phone number, not by email. DoorDash also runs multi-factor checks from time to time to confirm the account is yours. For those checks, a 6-digit code arrives by email or text message.

The limits are strict. Codes expire after 30 minutes. You get 5 attempts, and after 5 failed tries you must wait 30 minutes before trying again. To change the number, open the app's account icon → Profile, edit the field and confirm with 2-factor authentication. DoorDash is blunt about lost numbers. If you no longer have access to your account's phone number or email, it recommends creating a new DoorDash account. That makes keeping the number far more important than on most apps.

Common DoorDash problems and fixes

  • The SMS code doesn't arrive → the number can't receive SMS, the connection is down, or you unsubscribed from DoorDash texts → opt back in to notifications or send the code to your email, then tap “Resend Code”. Our guide “Verification code not received” covers the phone side.
  • An error appears while sending the code → try the other channel (email instead of SMS, or the reverse), or close the app and try again.
  • You're locked out after wrong codes → DoorDash allows 5 attempts, then you must wait 30 minutes before trying again.
  • The code stopped working → codes expire after 30 minutes → request a new one.
  • You lost the number on your account → DoorDash suggests creating a new account → avoid this by keeping the number renewed.

Why DoorDash needs a number that can take texts and calls

On DoorDash the phone number is how a Dasher reaches you at the door, which is why the app insists on verifying it and won't send that verification code by email. The number has to receive SMS. A real mobile number also takes incoming calls, so a Dasher who calls instead of texting gets through to your dashboard too.

Separately, DoorDash runs multi-factor checks from time to time to confirm you still own the account. Those can use email or a text, and they come back when you edit profile details, since changing the phone field itself is confirmed with 2-factor authentication.

  • Six-digit codes, each valid for 30 minutes.
  • Five wrong entries start a 30-minute wait before you can try again.
  • Unsubscribed from DoorDash texts? Opt back in to notifications, or the code may never send.

DoorDash and a lost phone number

Most apps have a recovery path for a lost number. DoorDash's help centre doesn't: if you can no longer reach the phone number or the email on the account, it recommends opening a new DoorDash account. On DoorDash, renewing the number is how you keep the account itself.

Questions

Does an SMSCreation number work with DoorDash?

In most cases, yes: our numbers are real mobile numbers, so DoorDash can send its code to them by SMS — and by call where DoorDash offers it. DoorDash's own sign-up rules still apply, so check the verification details on this page before you buy.

Which country should I choose for DoorDash?

Any country works. Pick the country where you want your contacts to see a local number, or where the service you're joining expects one.

Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?

Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.

Can I keep using the same number for DoorDash?

Yes. The number is yours for as long as you keep it renewed, so you can receive codes again for new devices or account recovery.

What if I don't need the number after all?

You're covered by our 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS — request a refund within 7 days of activation.

How much does it cost?

From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan (billed yearly at $21.60/year). Every plan includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 minutes.

Can I verify DoorDash with this number?

Yes. It's a real mobile number that receives SMS, which DoorDash requires, and incoming calls are unlimited if a Dasher needs to reach you. Keep it for as long as you keep the account, because DoorDash recommends a new account if you lose access to the number.

Why does DoorDash ask for a code again later?

DoorDash periodically runs multi-factor checks to confirm you own the account, and it also asks for 2-factor authentication when you edit your profile. The code is 6 digits and arrives by email or text message.

Can DoorDash send my phone verification code by email instead?

Not for phone verification: DoorDash says those codes can only be requested on the phone number. Its periodic multi-factor checks can use email or text.

What happens after five wrong DoorDash codes?

DoorDash locks code entry for 30 minutes. After that, request a new code, which stays valid for 30 minutes.
