A real phone number
for Booking.com.
Get a real mobile number for Booking.com in any of 181 countries. Receive the Booking.com verification code by SMS or call, use the number for a property's Extranet sign-in and guest-contact number that isn't a manager's personal SIM, and keep it for as long as you want.
Every number includes unlimited incoming SMS, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 outgoing minutes a month, and unlimited incoming calls — from $1.80 a month on the yearly plan, with a 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS.
How Booking.com verification works
Booking.com requires two-factor authentication for its Extranet, the platform properties use to manage listings. A six-digit PIN arrives by text message, or you can generate one in the Pulse app.
Because SMSCreation numbers are real mobile numbers, Booking.com treats them like any other phone: the code is delivered to your number and shows up in your dashboard inbox straight away.
Why it works with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram & Google
Apps check more than the digits: they look up the line type, the country format and whether the number can actually receive their code. Every SMSCreation number is a real mobile number in its country's official format — not a VoIP line — so it passes those checks the same way a SIM in your pocket does.
And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.
- Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
- Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
- Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
- Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
- Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working
Booking.com verification details
On Booking.com, phone verification is built into the partner side: the Extranet that hotels, apartments and hosts use to manage a property. Two-factor authentication is mandatory when you register. You sign in with your username and password, then enter a PIN, which you either receive by text message or generate in the Pulse app. When you sign in from a new browser, choose Text message and Booking.com sends a six-digit code to your phone. Booking.com says you may be asked for 2FA several times within 24 hours, so the phone has to stay reachable.
The phone number you choose must connect directly to you or someone on your team. Booking.com says a phone tree or robotic answering system won't work. It also recommends adding a backup 2FA phone number in case the first one can't be reached. Contact numbers are managed in the Extranet under the user account icon → Contacts. Booking.com recommends TOTP codes from Pulse over text messages because they are safer and work outside your usual mobile network, which helps when you travel. A good setup is Pulse as the main method and a dedicated number as the text-message backup.
- Code
- 6 digits, by text message; or a PIN from the Pulse app
- When it's asked
- Every Extranet sign-in, new devices, and sometimes several times within 24 hours
- Security setting to turn on
- Extranet → user account icon → My devices → Enable 2FA via Pulse
- Where to change the number
- Extranet → user account icon → Contacts
- Lockout rule
- Accounts unused for 6+ months are locked; 24+ months, disabled
Common Booking.com problems and fixes
- The text-message PIN doesn't arrive → the number on the Extranet is out of date or can't receive texts → sign in with a Pulse code, then update your number under Contacts. Our guide “Verification code not received” covers the phone side.
- You can't complete 2FA at all → select “Unable to verify?”, pick the reason, then call customer service with the PIN shown on screen. You'll need your property ID, and you must call from a number listed on the Extranet. A number with outgoing call minutes is useful here.
- The number reaches a switchboard or answering system → Booking.com says those don't work for verification → use a number that rings one person directly.
- You haven't signed in for months → Extranet accounts unused for more than six months are locked, so you'll have to contact customer service → sign in regularly and keep the 2FA number active.
An unknown 2FA phone number is a breach sign on Booking.com
Booking.com lists “new, unrecognized phone numbers for two-factor authentication” added to your property among the signs that someone else has accessed your Extranet. The other signs are guests getting payment requests you didn't send, unexplained changes to rates, availability or contact details, and new-location sign-in emails. Knowing exactly which numbers are yours makes that check easy. A dedicated verification number that only your team uses stands out from anything a scammer adds.
If you suspect a breach, Booking.com's steps are: run updated antivirus and anti-phishing software, reset your email password, then reset the Booking.com password from the Extranet sign-in page (Having trouble signing in? → Forgot your password?). Check your details for changes and report the incident to its Security team within 24 hours.
Setting up Extranet 2FA the first time
- Sign in to the Extranet; on the Verification method page choose a working phone number or a Pulse verification code, enter the one-time code and click Verify now.
- To switch to Pulse later: user account icon → My devices (this itself triggers a 2FA check) → your device → Enable 2FA via Pulse.
- In Pulse, the code is under More → Extranet verification code.
- Booking.com advises separate Extranet accounts for each employee rather than shared logins, and 2FA on work email as well.
- Its password rule: at least ten characters mixing uppercase, lowercase, numbers and special characters.
Verify Booking.com with your number in 4 steps

Tips for Booking.com
- Add the number under the Extranet's Contacts page and use it as a backup 2FA number next to Pulse.
- Use a number that rings a person directly, because phone trees and answering systems don't work for verification.
- Sign in regularly, because Extranet accounts unused for six months are locked.

Questions
Does an SMSCreation number work with Booking.com?
In most cases, yes: our numbers are real mobile numbers, so Booking.com can send its code to them by SMS — and by call where Booking.com offers it. Booking.com's own sign-up rules still apply, so check the verification details on this page before you buy.
Which country should I choose for Booking.com?
Any country works. Pick the country where you want your contacts to see a local number, or where the service you're joining expects one.
Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?
Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.
Can I keep using the same number for Booking.com?
Yes. The number is yours for as long as you keep it renewed, so you can receive codes again for new devices or account recovery.
What if I don't need the number after all?
You're covered by our 7-day replacement guarantee — if the number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or Google, we replace it free or refund 100%; plus a no-questions-asked refund if you haven't used it for any call or SMS — request a refund within 7 days of activation.
How much does it cost?
From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan (billed yearly at $21.60/year). Every plan includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 minutes.
Can I use this number for Booking.com Extranet verification?
Yes. It's a real mobile number, so it can receive the six-digit text-message PIN and place the call to customer service if you're ever locked out. Add it as a backup 2FA number next to the Pulse app, as Booking.com recommends, and keep it renewed so the property never loses access.
Does a guest booking need phone verification?
The phone verification steps in Booking.com's help pages are for accommodation partners signing in to the Extranet. Guests give contact details when booking, and the property may use them to reach you. A separate number keeps those messages away from your personal SIM.
How would I spot that someone added their phone to my Booking.com Extranet?
Booking.com names new, unrecognized 2FA phone numbers on your property as a sign of unauthorized access. Check My devices and your contacts, then report it to the Security team within 24 hours.
Should each Booking.com staff member have their own verification number?
Booking.com recommends individual Extranet accounts for each employee instead of sharing one, and the 2FA phone must reach you or a team member directly.
