A real Thailand mobile number that works everywhere

Each Thailand number follows the official +66 mobile numbering plan, so apps and websites recognise it as an ordinary Thai mobile number. That's why it works with WhatsApp, Instagram, Google, Telegram and LINE, Google and Microsoft accounts, marketplaces, ride and delivery apps, and the long tail of websites that verify you with an SMS code.

In Thailand, LINE is especially popular — your number receives their codes and messages too. Messages arrive in your SMSCreation inbox the moment they're sent; calls ring through to your dashboard.

And we stand behind it with a 7-day replacement guarantee: if your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free with a new number in the same country — or refund 100% if you prefer.

  • Non-VoIP, real mobile line type — line-type checks see an ordinary SIM number, not a VoIP line
  • Official country format with the right country code, prefix and digit count
  • Unlimited incoming SMS and calls — codes arrive by text or through the “call me” option
  • Private to you — never listed on public SMS sites, so it isn't flagged or rate-limited
  • Yours for as long as you want — re-verification and account recovery keep working

Thailand number format

Thailand uses the country code +66. Mobile numbers have 9 digits after the country code and are written locally like 081 234 5678.

On SMSCreation you choose from 39 Thailand numbers shown in their real format, for example +66 XX 000 09XX. The first two and last two digits appear as XX and are assigned when your order is approved and the number is activated — so the number you receive has never been listed to anyone else.

How to call and text a Thailand number

Anyone can reach your Thailand number from anywhere. Here's how, using +66 XX 000 09XX as the example:

Thailand runs on UTC+7, so you'll know when calls and messages are likely to come in.

  • From any mobile phone: dial +66 XX 000 09XX — the + works on every network.
  • From the United States or Canada: dial 011 66 XX 000 09XX.
  • From the UK, India, the EU and most other countries: dial 00 66 XX 000 09XX.
  • From inside Thailand: dial 0XX 000 09XX.

Who uses a Thailand number

  • Gamers, creators and app users get past region-locked sign-ups with a local mobile number.
  • Asian super-apps and marketplaces commonly verify accounts by SMS to a local mobile number.
  • Thai people living abroad who want to keep a Thailand number for family, bank verification codes and local services.
  • Travellers heading to Bangkok who want a local number before they land — for bookings, rides and messaging.
  • Companies entering the Thailand market that want a local presence without an office.
  • People who want a separate Thailand number for online accounts so their personal number stays private.

Using a Thai number: local notes

LINE is Thailand's everyday messenger: shops, hotels, condo managers and many companies run their customer service through LINE official accounts, and LINE verifies new users by SMS. Delivery and ride apps, marketplaces and banks also send SMS codes. The PromptPay payment system lets people link a mobile number to a bank account, but that requires a Thai bank account.

Thai mobiles start with 06, 08 or 09 and have ten digits at home, for example 081 234 5678. Internationally, drop the 0: +66 81 234 5678, nine digits after the country code. Bangkok landlines use 02 and are one digit shorter, which is how you can tell them apart. Local prepaid SIMs must be registered with a passport or Thai ID under NBTC rules, and tourists are typically asked for their passport at the counter.

Thailand uses Indochina Time (UTC+7) all year, with no daylight saving. Long public holidays such as Songkran in April slow down business replies.

  • Format: +66 then nine digits starting with 6, 8 or 9.
  • Register LINE as well as WhatsApp to reach Thai businesses.
  • Bangkok is UTC+7 year-round.
  • PromptPay needs a Thai bank account, not just a Thai number.

Questions

Is this a real Thailand mobile number?

Yes. It is a real Thailand mobile number with the +66 country code, in the same format local networks use — so it works with WhatsApp, Instagram, Google, Telegram and LINE and the services that verify you by SMS.

Can I use my Thailand number for WhatsApp?

Yes. WhatsApp sends its code by SMS (with a call as a fallback), and your plan includes unlimited incoming SMS and unlimited incoming calls, so the code reaches you either way.

Will the number work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Google?

Yes — guaranteed. It's a real mobile number with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so verification codes arrive by SMS or voice call. If it doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any app you need, we replace it free within 7 days — or refund 100%.

What is included with a Thailand number?

Unlimited incoming SMS, 500 outgoing SMS per month, 1,000 outgoing call minutes per month and unlimited incoming calls — on every plan.

How much does a Thailand number cost?

From $1.80 a month on the yearly plan (billed yearly at $21.60/year), with unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 SMS and 1,000 minutes included.

How long can I keep my Thailand number?

For as long as you want. It renews from your wallet at the end of each term, and it stays yours while it is renewed.

What is your refund policy?

If your number doesn't work with WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Google or any other app, tell us within 7 days of activation: we replace it free with a new number in the same country, or refund 100% if you prefer. And if you change your mind before using the number for any call or SMS, you get a full refund — no questions asked.

Do I need to live in Thailand or show ID?

No. You don't need to be in Thailand, own a Thailand SIM or upload documents — an email address is enough to create your account.

What does a Thailand mobile number look like?

Thailand mobile numbers have 9 digits after +66, for example 081 234 5678 when written locally.

Can I make calls and send SMS from my Thailand number?

Yes. Each month includes 1,000 minutes of outgoing calls and 500 outgoing texts from your Thailand number; incoming is unlimited.

How do people call my Thailand number from abroad?

From a mobile, they dial +66 XX 000 09XX. From the US or Canada they dial 011 66 XX 000 09XX; from most other countries, 00 66 XX 000 09XX.

Is it really private?

Yes. There's no KYC: we never ask for ID, a real name, a phone number or a card. You sign up with an email and pay in crypto, so nothing ties your Thailand number to your identity or bank. We never sell your data.

Why crypto only?

Because it keeps you private and keeps prices low: no card details, no bank records, no chargebacks and no currency conversion. We accept USDT and USDC on 9 networks, priced in US dollars.

How do I pay from Thailand?

With crypto — USDT or USDC on Tron, Polygon, BNB Chain, Base or Solana — or from your SMSCreation wallet balance. Prices are in US dollars, so you never pay THB conversion or card fees.

Why do Thai businesses ask for my LINE rather than my number?

LINE is the dominant messaging app in Thailand, and many companies handle bookings and support through LINE official accounts. LINE accounts are verified by SMS to a phone number, so a Thai number can receive that code and let you set up LINE for contacts in Thailand.

Can I link a Thai number to PromptPay?

PromptPay links a mobile number or national ID to a Thai bank account, and registration happens through your bank. Without a Thai bank account you can't register. A Thai number from SMSCreation is suited to SMS codes, LINE, WhatsApp and calls rather than PromptPay.
